Julia completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at UBC after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at UVic. She has been providing physiotherapy services to her hometown of Victoria since 2008. Julia’s post-graduate studies have focused primarily on orthopedic injury and chronic pain. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, IMS dry needling and education to help her clients reach their goals.
Growing up, Julia enjoyed competitive swimming and aquatics instruction along with competitive dance. She enjoys her clinical work immensely and strives to deliver best practice by incorporating current evidence with clinical reasoning and some fun! When not busy helping clients, she’s outside in the Westshore enjoying time with her husband and daughter and their dog!
