Perhaps you find yourself replaying past experiences, worrying about the future, or feeling the heavy judgment of others or even of yourself. You might be questioning your identity, wondering how the actions of others have shaped you, or struggling to understand patterns that keep repeating in your life. These struggles can feel isolating, overwhelming, numbing, and sometimes impossible to carry alone. You don’t have to face this weight by yourself. Therapy can provide a safe, supportive space where you can begin to process these experiences, explore how they show up in your life, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced or overlooked. Together, we can work at a pace that feels right for you, uncovering ways to understand, release, and transform these challenges into opportunities for self-awareness, resilience, and growth. As someone from a Caribbean and South American immigrant family, I understand what it can feel like to move between cultures and carry expectations from different worlds. I recognize the impact of systemic racism, discrimination, and intergenerational pressures, and I prioritize creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your cultural identity, family dynamics, faith, and the values that have shaped you. As a spiritually and culturally informed therapist, I recognize the important role that spiritual healing and connection can play both within yourself and within your community. Additionally, I am an advocate for men’s mental health, supporting individuals and couples to navigate the unique challenges of expressing thoughts and emotions in therapy. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you. My approach emphasizes emotional awareness, understanding relational patterns, and strengthening the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to support meaningful change. I draw from Client-Centered Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and attachment-informed approaches. These methods are integrated to meet your unique needs: EFT and attachment work help explore emotions and relational patterns, CBT examines connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life situations, and Client-Centered Therapy ensures your experience and goals remain central. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. I work with individuals who may be facing challenges such as work or academic stress, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem, struggles with spirituality, experiences of abuse, questions around sexuality, or trauma. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space to explore these experiences and build understanding, resilience, and self-connection. I believe in you.
