Jomell’s passion for helping people, and his fascination with anatomy and physiology is what led him to study massage therapy. Since graduating from Langara College in 2017, he has been developing his practice,
gaining experience working with pregnancies, orthopedic conditions, and individuals involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents.
Jomell believes the body must be treated as a whole, and works with patients to identify where imbalances may come from. He uses myofascial release techniques, including trigger point release and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), combined with traditional Swedish massage to help his patients achieve their goals.
Fluent in English and with an understanding of Tagalog, Jomell strives to make his treatment room an inclusive safe space for all. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Jomell riding his bicycle around Steveston or exploring Vancouver’s many cafés and restaurants.
