About Jiayi

Thoughtful| Purposeful | Growth-oriented Jiayi believes lasting results are built on strong foundations. His treatment philosophy emphasizes individualized care, patient education, and evidence-informed practice. He works with clients to identify the underlying causes of their concerns and develop treatment plans tailored to their goals, lifestyle, and stage of recovery. His approach combines hands-on therapy, progressive exercise rehabilitation, and movement education, and may incorporate techniques such as Guasha (Graston Technique®), cupping therapy when appropriate. By blending modern rehabilitation principles with selected traditional Chinese medicine techniques, Jiayi empowers clients to take an active role in their recovery and build lasting strength, resilience, and confidence. Jiayi is a Certified Athletic Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Athletic Therapy from York University. Before entering clinical practice, he spent several years working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, experiences that continue to shape his approach to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance. During his spare time, Jiayi enjoys strength training, exploring nature, and discovering great food. He believes movement should enhance quality of life and is committed to helping people stay active, resilient, and confident in doing the things they love.
