###Registered Provisional Psychologist
#####If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, grieving, or simply finding it difficult to navigate life's challenges, you're not alone.
Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps to take, but it can also be one of the most meaningful. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create positive change in your life.
#####I have experience working with children over 6 years, youth 13+, and individual adults.
I work with children (6+), youth, and adults who are navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem challenges, stress, relationship difficulties, and other mental health concerns. Whether you're facing a recent challenge or carrying struggles that have been with you for years, I am committed to helping you explore your experiences with compassion and curiosity while building practical tools to support your well-being.
My own experiences with loss and mental health challenges showed me firsthand the value of compassionate therapeutic support. During difficult seasons in my life, I discovered how powerful it can be to have someone walk alongside you without judgment, offering understanding, perspective, and hope. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in counselling and continue to shape the empathy, authenticity, and care that I bring into every session.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse individuals across the lifespan—from children and youth to adults and older adults—each with their own unique stories, strengths, and goals. These experiences have reinforced my belief that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported as they work through life's challenges.
#####I view therapy as a collaborative process and believe that you are the expert on your own life.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to partner with you in understanding your experiences, identifying patterns that may no longer be serving you, and helping you discover new ways of coping, healing, and growing. Together, we can build on your existing strengths while developing new skills and insights that support meaningful and lasting change.
#####Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, approachable, and easy to talk to.
I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I bring empathy, honesty, authenticity, and curiosity into my work, and I believe that humour can also be an important part of the healing process when the moment feels right. Therapy doesn't always have to feel heavy—sometimes growth happens through moments of connection, laughter, and self-discovery.
My approach is grounded in person-centred and trauma-informed principles and draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, strength-based approaches, and integrative counselling techniques. I tailor therapy to each individual because I believe that no single approach works for everyone.
I have experience supporting clients with concerns such as:
• Anxiety and excessive worry
• Depression and low mood
• Grief, loss, and bereavement
• Life transitions and adjustment challenges
• Emotional regulation and coping skills
• Self-esteem and self-worth concerns
• Stress and burnout
• Trauma and adverse life experiences
• ADHD and executive functioning challenges
• Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting-related concerns
• Relationship and family challenges
• Personal growth and self-discovery
When working with children and youth, I focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment where they can express themselves, build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and develop confidence in navigating life's challenges.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, cat, and dog. I love baking, participating in and attending performing arts events, and finding any opportunity to dance.
Beginning therapy takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that journey with you. I am committed to creating a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring challenges, celebrating successes, building resilience, and moving toward the life you want to live.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you along the way.
