About Jessica

Jessica is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Master’s in Psychology from Walden University, alongside Bachelor’s degrees in Developmental Art and Education from the University of Calgary. Born and raised in Calgary, she remains an Alberta resident and is fully licensed to provide therapy to clients across Alberta, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. She completed a comprehensive residency program that equipped her to work with highly diverse populations, offering individual counselling to clients of all ages. As a dedicated lifelong learner, Jessica consistently engages in new research and continuing education to bring the most current, evidence-based practices to her clinical work. In her practice, Jessica provides a comprehensive range of clinical services tailored to individual, couple, and family needs. Her areas of care include treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and postpartum depression, alongside offering specialized therapy for adult ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and chronic pain management. She supports clients navigating life cycle transitions, decision-making, and burnout prevention, with a strong focus on women's reproductive health, including PMS, PMDD, perimenopause, life after a hysterectomy, and chronic conditions like adenomyosis, endometriosis, and PCOS. Jessica also specializes in parenting guidance, couples counselling, career coaching, and developmental therapy for children, teens, post-secondary students, and elderly clients. Jessica builds customized treatment plans by drawing from a rich toolkit of evidence-based modalities and advanced therapeutic training. Her informed approach seamlessly integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She is also highly skilled in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Gottman-informed couples care, with specific clinical training focused on trauma-informed care, non-suicidal self-injury, and treating chronic pain. Outside of the clinic, Jessica is a passionate researcher and a creative writer who has already self-published three books. She balances her professional life by spending quality time with friends and family, reading, and taking long walks with her dogs.
