About Jesse

Jesse is passionate about helping people get back to doing the things they love. Having played Team Manitoba rugby and hockey in the MJHL, he has experienced firsthand what it is like to deal with injuries and the frustration that comes with being away from the sports and activities you enjoy. Jesse spent countless hours in the physiotherapy room throughout his own athletic career, which gave him a real appreciation for the role physiotherapy can play in helping people get back to doing what they love. Jesse takes a collaborative and exercise-focused approach to physiotherapy. He believes that every person and injury is different, and that rehabilitation should be built around each individual’s goals and what they want to get back to. He works with clients to create a plan that they understand and feel confident with, while helping them take an active role in their own recovery. Jesse also has a strong background in strength and conditioning. For the past six years, he has worked in a gym helping young hockey and ringette athletes get stronger, improve their fitness, and become better athletes. This experience has shaped his approach to rehabilitation and his belief that exercise can be an important part of helping people not only recover from an injury, but come back stronger and more confident. Jesse graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Physical Education in 2024 before going on to complete his Master of Physical Therapy in 2026. He is excited to continue developing his skills through further education, including manual therapy and exercise-focused rehabilitation courses, with plans to pursue FCAMPT training in the future.
