About Jesse

Many of the individuals and couples I work with feel a disconnect between their current reality and the life they know they are capable of living. Whether it is the weight of anxiety, the complexities of navigating neurodivergence (ADHD), or the identity shifts that come with life transitions like parenthood or the end of a sports career, it is easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of the next step. I partner with my clients using an integrative, evidence-based approach that includes CBT, ACT, and EMDR. My practice is rooted in authenticity and curiosity; I view therapy as a collaborative partnership where we combine your expertise in your own life with my clinical training. We work together to build practical mental tools and strategies that are tailored to your unique goals and values. My goal is to create a secure, supportive environment where you feel truly heard. By fostering resilience and mental clarity, I help you move forward with a renewed sense of direction and the confidence to navigate life’s challenges—both in and out of "the arena". Jesse is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a graduate of Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Harvard University. Jesse brings a distinct perspective to his clinical work, drawing on his 15-year background as a former NCAA, professional, and international lacrosse athlete and coach. This experience allows him to deeply understand the nuances of peak performance, athletic identity, and the high-pressure environments his clients often face. In his clinical practice, Jesse has supported adults and adolescents (12+) navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. Jesse is particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and is currently expanding his practice to include neurodivergence-informed couples counselling, as well as perinatal and postpartum support. Outside of the office, Jesse remains an active member of the Calgary sporting community and enjoys golfing, strength training, and experimenting with new recipes as an amateur chef and baker. Client Focus: Couples, individuals, adults, adolescents (starting at 12+) Types of Therapy: CBT, ACT, SFT, EMDR, Mindfulness Issues: (Standard) Anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, life transitions, relationships, values, grief and loss (Specialties) Peak performance, neurodivergence, ADHD, perinatal, postpartum, couples counselling More than just my work: Movement is where I find my flow. As a lifelong athlete, physical activity has always been my most reliable tool for finding calm. Whether it’s strength training, biking, or golfing, in these moments of activity and play, I’m able to fully reset, clear my mind, and find a sense of ease that I carry back into my daily life.
