About Jennifer
Jennifer was born and raised in southwest Manitoba. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) in 2004. She practiced in Winnipeg before moving to Brandon to open Focus Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic with Derek. Jennifer has also spent time working at the BRHC in the inpatient orthopedics area. Jennifer has taken a multitude of post graduate courses, including acupuncture, kineso taping, Barnes myofascial release and TMJ training. Jennifer has a very special interest in myofascial release and sports injury rehabilitation. Jennifer grew up participating in as many sports as she could. She was actively involved in fastball, badminton, volleyball, track and field and figure skating. Jennifer has always had a love for hockey and spent many years working as a trainer. Jenn now hopes to pass on her love for sport and exercise to her three young sons. She feels physical activity is a critical part of a healthy life, and hopes she can help others learn this through example. Jenn’s favorite hobbies are running, and watching her boys play their sports.
