Depuis 1999, Jean-François œuvre principalement auprès de clients ayant subi une chirurgie de remplacement totale de la hanche ou du genou. Son intérêt pour la clientèle post-arthroplasties m’a mené en 2013 à assister à la «Spring conference – ortho track» de l’American Physical Therapy Association à Phoenix en Arizona. Depuis, il enseigne sur le sujet, a participé à 2 projets de recherches sur l'arthroplastie de la hanche et du genou, et a assisté à 2 reprises au congrès de l'American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) en 2023 et 2025.
