About Jaynie

Jaynie is an art psychotherapy student at the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy and a member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association, with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families across diverse and neurodivergent communities. Her approach is creative, gentle, and deeply compassionate—rooted in connection, emotional wellbeing, and meeting each person exactly where they are. With a background in Early Childhood Education and Applied Behaviour Analysis, she brings a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and the many layers of family life into her work. Jaynie offers art therapy as a soft, inclusive space for exploration—no art experience needed. Sessions focus on the process rather than the product, using creativity to help express thoughts and emotions that may be difficult to put into words. She supports individuals navigating burnout, anxiety, disconnection, self-criticism, or feeling stuck, while fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and deeper connection. Beginning therapy can feel like a big step—those who feel curious are warmly invited to connect
