Jason is currently not accepting new patients.
Jason grew up dancing, playing sports and has a passion for helping others manage their pain and improve their quality of life. He does his best to make sure his patients get back to doing what they enjoy by assessing each individual and determining what could be the root cause of the symptoms. His goal is to help his patients understand why they are in pain and what they can do to help prevent further injury/dysfunction. This may include homecare exercises to support recovery.
Jason's style of treatment focuses on myofascial release, trigger point release, and a bit of visceral manipulation. He always works within a patient's tolerance and with specificity, ensuring that he meets the body where it is at while providing a safe space for it to release, coupled with deep diaphragmatic breathing. Much of the treatment is done over the sheets; this is not your traditional Swedish massage, though lotion may be incorporated if needed.
He has experience treating dance and sport-related injuries, thoracic outlet syndrome, poor posture, and muscle imbalances. Jason welcomes people of all identities and provides a safe, inclusive treatment space.
Jason is an active member of the Vancouver Men's Chorus. In his spare time, he loves to sing, dance, hike, perform, and pet all the dogs.
