About Janice

Janice is a second-year student in the Master of Physical Therapy program at UBC. Prior to entering the program, she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology. During her training, Janice has worked with a variety of client populations, with specific interests in musculoskeletal injuries and neurological rehabilitation. Her most recent placements involved treating post-operative orthopaedic patients, sports injuries, and stroke patients. In her spare time, Janice enjoys running, hiking, and any racquet sports. Having experienced past injuries, she understands the importance of active rehabilitation with a patient-centered approach. She aims to empower clients with the knowledge and confidence to return to the activities that matter most to them. Outside the clinic, Janice loves to explore new food and spend time in nature with friends & family. Janice is fluent in English and Cantonese and is happy to provide care to Cantonese-speaking patients.
