Jamieson graduated WCCMT’s 3000 hour RMT program in Spring 2010. Jamieson brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to VIP Therapy.
Jamieson has taken a variety of continuing educational courses including; deep tissue massage, stretching, joint mobilization, pain management, home-care & breathing exercises, sports taping along with structural & functional alignment techniques. As a former athlete Jamieson still enjoys biking, ice hockey, racket sports, snowboarding and weight training in the gym. Over the years he's treated many “weekend warrior” type conditions and believes that pain free movement and activity is the key to longevity for a healthy lifestyle. “Sometimes we learn best on how to help others by learning from our own injuries/aches/pains"
Jamieson best describes his approach to massage therapy by using therapeutic techniques perfectly blended with relaxation modalities. “Massage Therapy can be anything you want - whether that be feeling the bliss of a full body relaxation massage or a more therapeutic approach spending time massaging a specific area/knot/trigger point” each individual treatment is tendered to the specific needs presented on that day.
Tsawwassen has always been home for Jamieson, spending his youth growing up right here in the community. Jamieson is honoured to return to work in his beloved seaside town
