About Jamie

Jamie is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals who are navigating a range of mental health, behavioural, and developmental challenges through a neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed lens. A significant part of her work has involved supporting parents and caregivers to better understand developmental needs, strengthen connection, and reduce conflict. She is registered and in good standing with both the BC College and the Alberta College of Social Workers, and holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. Her background includes community mental health, child and youth mental health, clinical counselling, and family systems work. Her clinical approach is flexible and eclectic and she work closely with her clients to ensure the work together continues to align with their current needs and future goals. Jamie has had a lot of life experience that allows for an authentic understanding and connection with many clients and she is committed to providing a nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing and growth. Jamie's belief is that safety and relationship form the foundation for meaningful and lasting therapeutic change.
