Jackie was born and raised in Vancouver and moved to Ontario to train with the National beach volleyball team. Jackie also played volleyball for her university during her undergrad, which is where she became interested in pursuing a career in Athletic Therapy. Being a former elite athlete herself, Jackie can relate with athletes throughout their rehabilitation of both acute and chronic injuries and understands how challenging it can be. Jackie has a unique approach to injuries and treatment combining her Athletic Therapy, MAT and personal training skills to best help her clients recover from injury, improve functions and quality of life. She is passionate about empowering individuals and educating them about their injury and rehabilitation to help them reach their overall goals. Jackie has experience with people of all ages and activity levels, from kids with concussions to seniors recovering from hip replacement surgery. Her treatments focus on improving neuromuscular function, stability, mobility, injury prevention and reducing pain. Jackie is also passionate about hiking, animals and DIY’ing. Over the last 10 years Jackie has volunteered with a dog rescue in Toronto, with whom she has travelled to rescue dogs off the streets and fostered over 50 dogs. This has resulted in two foster fails, Fynn and Ellie, who have become her loyal adventure companions and her world.
