I have been supporting people’s mental health in Edmonton for over twenty years. I love supporting people through the ups and downs of life’s challenges. I provide therapy for adults and adolescents (over 16 years old). I have experience working with people of very diverse backgrounds. I have also worked in the education system, the healthcare system and in the immigration sector.
I like to work collaboratively with my clients on a variety of issues such as: relationships, parenting, immigration, grief and loss, trauma, divorce, domestic violence and depression.
I create a safe space by using a strength-based approach that values people’s own resilience and cultural background.
I practice from a feminist, anti-racist and anti-oppressive viewpoint. I am trained in several modalities: Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR.
