About Immanuel

Immanuel takes a collaborative approach to physiotherapy, working with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan focused on helping them move with confidence and return to the activities they enjoy. His passion for physiotherapy began while working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where he saw firsthand the impact rehabilitation can have on a person’s recovery and quality of life. Immanuel completed his Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before earning his Master of Physical Therapy from York St John University in England. He has worked with professional sport teams, including York City Football Club and the Brampton Honey Badgers, as well as in hospital and community settings involving post-surgical recovery, neurological rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Drawing on his background in biomechanics research, Immanuel uses manual therapy, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, and education to support functional recovery for both athletic and general populations. Having grown up playing basketball and continuing to enjoy strength training and running, he understands the importance of helping patients get back to doing what they love.
