Ilana Katz is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist who received her Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences as well as her Master of Clinical Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. Ilana is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) as well as Speech-Language and Audiology of Canada (SAC) and the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).
Ilana has experience working with children and adults of all ages both individually and in groups. She is Hanen certified for “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More Than Words”, both family-focused early language intervention programs. Ilana is also Hanen certified to lead programs for educators including “Learning Language and Loving It,” "Teacher Talk" and "ABC and Beyond." Ilana holds PROMPT level 2 "Bridging" Certification and LAMP training level 1. Ilana is also trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding.
Ilana’s areas of interest include working with preschool and school age children in the areas of articulation, language and literacy, as well as working with children with special needs. Ilana also works extensively with adults with developmental disabilities.
