Ian has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Toronto’s Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2006. He lived and worked in Toronto until moving to Victoria in 2015 via a one year working-holiday in New Zealand.
Ian’s experience has taught him that no two patients are alike. He lets each individual’s unique set of symptoms and goals guide his treatments, which always include both relaxation and therapeutic components.
Relieving undo stresses from the body and mind are at the core of each massage. Techniques to achieve this may include: Classic Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myo-fascial release, joint mobilization, and postural alignment.
When he's not massaging he can usually be found drinking coffee, wandering around book stores, or at the park with his family.
