About Ian

Ian graduated from the UWO in 1993 with a BSc. in Physics/Philosophy. After a successful stint in Restaurant Management he became attracted to the possibility of a career in Health Care. Always interested in the unity of Mind, Body & Soul, the intersection of the three became truly personal when he began studying Massage Therapy 12 years later. He joined the Dynamic Approach team in 2006, then became a Massage Therapy Instructor , teaching and mentoring students. First at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy for 10 years and now at Conestoga College. Ian employs a variety of techniques during his treatments including; myofascial release, muscle energy and deep tissue massage (always searching for the root of the problem) to promote optimal health Ian volunteers his time at Hopespring Cancer Support Center, helping those living with cancer, as well as their families. He is still fascinated by philosophy, especially when Faith, Science and Reason connect, loves learning about nutrition and is still trying to nail down a regular yoga practice.
