About Hyejoon
Hyejoon Kim is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist who bridges biomedical science and traditional East Asian medicine. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Medical Science and Biology from Western University and completed her TCM training at Humber College, where she received the Academic Award of Excellence and was named to the Dean’s Honour List for three consecutive years.
Hyejoon believes health reflects an interplay of physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors. With a strong understanding of anatomy, TCM diagnostics, and Mental Health First Aid certification, she offers a thoughtful, integrative approach to care with a commitment to supporting the whole person. With a strong foundation in general practice acupuncture, she welcomes patients seeking support for a wide range of concerns, including chronic and acute pain, stress, digestive issues, and overall wellness.
Known for her warm and attentive manner, Hyejoon values the power of listening and views treatment as a partnership. She incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, and tuina to help patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
