Hi! I'm Hunter and I am a provisional psychologist. I am passionate about supporting diverse populations with a wide range of concerns. I recognize that clients often seek therapists based on shared identity, so I bring my personal perspective as a man, a young adult, and a queer person into my practice. Through my mental health work and education, I have experience counselling clients facing anxiety, depression, identity and self-concept struggles, dealing with interpersonal violence, relationship issues, and living with mental health disorders. I address these concerns by taking a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. This commitment ensures I remain open-minded, accountable, and collaborative, which helps create the best possible outcomes for my clients.I approach clients using a tailored mix of theories and methodologies. I use evidence-backed treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution- and strengths-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. These techniques are integrated with humanistic, existentialist, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed perspectives.
