Hossein is a Registered Psychotherapist. He completed a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology in addition to a Bachelor of Science, an MA, and a PhD in Philosophy. Hossein has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health agencies, private clinics, and hospital-based clinics. As a philosopher who is interested in stoicism (one of the foundations of CBT, DBT, and MBCT) Hossein regards the close relationships between his clients’ thoughts, behaviours, and emotions as the main aspect of the psychotherapeutic journey.
