Hermina Kochanski

About Hermina

Hermina completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor in Kinesiology. She then attended the University of Toronto, where she graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Throughout her studies, she maintained honour roll standing, and was the recipient of the highest grade and academic achievement amongst her graduating class in the field of musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Since graduating, Hermina has worked in the field of both orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. While working as a physiotherapist, she pursued further post graduate training and completed her Advanced level certification in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She then became an instructor and mentor for other physiotherapists in her field. Hermina is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Furthermore, she has taken courses through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, and is certified in athletic and kinesio taping. Outside of work, Hermina enjoys spending time at her local gym, and participating in running events. She also takes great passion in the outdoors, participating in hiking and camping. Also, being a new mom has given her great appreciation for the wonders of the female body and its abilities, and she has recently taken an interest in treating the demands of pregnancy, delivery, and post-natal recovery. Hermina’s educational background and practical experience give her great success in treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
