About Hector
Hector specializes in helping individuals, couples, and teens navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting struggles, self-esteem concerns, and career advancement. His passion for therapy stems from a deep desire to help clients reduce their time in emotional pain, discomfort, and/or uncertainty.
Hector earned his Master’s in Counselling (Acadia University), where his thesis titled ‘Early Childhood Messages and their Influence in Adult Decision-making’ was so groundbreaking, it earned a nomination for a Governor General’s Gold Medal. Hector continues his research in this area.
Hector sees himself as a partner in his clients' journeys. He utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques with a solution-focused approach to developing practical strategies for success. He helps clients uncover the beliefs and behaviors that are at the root of each challenge, empowering clients to take charge of their lives.
His experience spans a wide range of issues, from guiding individuals through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and self-confidence struggles to coaching couples on strengthening their relationships. He also excels in career counseling and life coaching, helping professionals find clarity and achieve their goals.
