About Harry

Harry Kaari has been practicing massage therapy since 2004. He has been interested in the human body and sports performance since first starting into hockey at the age of 9. Since then, Harry has played badminton, tennis, volleyball, golf, and baseball. He has also been an avid runner and completed two marathons. His love of sports is reflected in his treatments and assessments, looking at the client’s overall functioning to offer a treatment plan to improve performance and activities of daily living best. Harry’s treatment approach includes deep tissue release, joint mobilizations, MET, and therapeutic exercise. To further his capabilities in massage therapy, Harry has completed continuing education in shoulder rehabilitation, pain management, and advanced stretching and techniques for the cervical spine. Harry is always looking to increase his knowledge base about orthopedic injuries, repetitive strains, and systemic conditions. Having experienced his setbacks with various sports injuries over the years, Harry can relate to clients trying to return to an optimal level of functioning. As a result, he is very dedicated to a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that his clients receive the best care appropriate for them. When Harry is not at his practice, he can often be found at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where he works as a Clinic Supervisor and Teaching Assistant. Harry enjoys interacting with the students, watching them develop their skillset throughout the program. In his free time, Harry likes to hit the links for a round of golf, hike with his dog Indy, and camp his way around the Okanagan while exploring the vineyards.
