About Harmehek
Harmehek is a University of Alberta graduate with a strong clinical background in pediatric physiotherapy and a focus on infant development. She is passionate about supporting babies with concerns such as torticollis, head shape (plagiocephaly), and delayed gross motor skills — helping them achieve milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking through play-based, family-centred care. She has worked with many infants and young children with neuromotor conditions, including cerebral palsy, gait differences, and toe walking, and also works with adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgery (such as knee and hip replacements) or neurological events like stroke and traumatic brain injury. Alongside her pediatric focus, Harmehek is certified in Level 1 Dry Needling and treats orthopedic injuries across all ages. Her approach combines active listening, hands-on therapy, and collaborative goal setting, so both children and adults feel supported in their care.
