About Hamza

Hamza Adwan is a dedicated Physiotherapist with a strong passion for sport rehabilitation that stems from his involvement in different sports throughout his life. He completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, building on a bachelors and Masters in Kinesiology from Brock University. Hamza enjoys helping people recover from injury, improve movement, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them. He believes successful rehabilitation begins with understanding each person's goals and combines thorough assessment, hands on treatment when appropriate, and individualized exercise programs to achieve lasting results. His approach emphasizes patient education, collaboration, and empowering people to take an active role in their recovery. His clinical interests include Sport rehabilitation, exercise based rehabilitation and Prehab conditioning. He also continues to expand his practice in neurorehabilitation and dedicates time to work with individuals recovering from neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis, with a focus on maximizing function, mobility, and independence. Outside the clinic, Hamza has a longstanding passion for strength training, a never ending list of automotive projects, and continues education to refine his practice.
