Where are you from?
Philippines
What were you doing before pursuing RMT?
I explored different career paths, including film and teaching, until I discovered massage therapy through my passion for health and wellness. Coming from a place where massage isn’t widely recognized as a formal profession, I feel truly grateful to be building a career that I’m excited to grow in and dedicated to.
Why do you want to be an RMT?
I’m passionate about helping people recover from injuries and regain function, with a particular interest in supporting older adults and individuals experiencing physical limitations. My goal is to continue developing strong clinical skills to provide meaningful, effective care.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?
Outside of school, I enjoy watching movies, sports, and dance series, and I like staying active through dancing, boxing, and playing sports.
What is your favourite thing about VCMT?
My favorite thing about VCMT is my cohort. It’s a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment, and seeing the hard work of my classmates inspires me and contributes to my growth as a student and future therapist.
Do you speak any languages other than English fluently? If so, which ones?
