Gillian McCallum trained at Westcoast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. After graduating in 2011, she moved back to Campbell River and has been working at RiverCity since 2012.
She brings to the team a genuine want to help people manage their daily and chronic musculoskeletal pain, and has a passion for helping people make small changes that have a huge impact on their quality of life. One area she has decided to focus her training is treating people who have chronic TMJ disfunction.
Some of the modalities Gillian uses are myofascial release, craniosacral, and various neuromuscular techniques. Her treatments tend to be moderate to deep tissue, but will always listen to the body's needs, and tailor her treatments based on that.
