About Gigi

Gigi Ge earned her acupuncture and massage certificate from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2012 and honed her acupuncture and medical Qi Gong skills under the guidance of her mentor. She came to Canada in 2016, and completed an intensive Traditional Chinese Medicinepractitioner program at Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a Registered TCM Practitioner, Registered Acupuncturist in BC, and also a Certified Aromatherapist with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). She is a member of Fu's Subcutaneous Needling Association of Canada and the United Acupuncturists & TCMP Association of British Columbia. Gigi has her private practice on UBC campus about 4 years. She has specialized in pain management, mental health therapy and sleeping improvement. She’s experienced in the gastrointestinal and gynecological health. Also, she helps patients with weight control, hair loss issues and cosmetic facial rejuvenation. Her treatments integrate acupuncture, Fu's subcutaneous needling, scalp acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, Gua Sha (scraping therapy), moxibustion, Chinese Herbs and aromatherapy. She believes in holistic health and balance, and trusts the innate self-healing capacities of individuals. Combining various treatments can help patients achieve optimal health, addressing not only physical ailments but also harmonizing their energy and mental states through traditional Chinese medicine. In her spare time, Gigi enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling and hiking. She is also passionate about meditation and yoga.
