Gevorg earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology, Master of Science, and Master of Physiotherapy degrees from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Alongside his physiotherapy training, he spent several years conducting neuroscience research focused on how the brain and spinal cord adapt after injury.
Passionate about research and continuing education, Gevorg’s treatment approach is informed by the latest evidence. He focuses on education and tailored therapeutic exercise as the foundation of care, with manual therapy used as an adjunct to help clients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.
He enjoys helping clients recover from orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as post-surgical recovery. He has extensive experience treating concussions and is currently pursuing advanced vestibular training to better support clients with dizziness and balance concerns.
Gevorg also loves working with runners and has completed specialized courses in assessing and treating running-related injuries and enjoys helping runners of all levels recover, improve performance, and prevent future injuries. He has experience working with athletic populations, including UBC Varsity Soccer and the Richmond Men’s Rugby Club, as well as athletes across a variety of sports.
Outside of the clinic, Gevorg enjoys hiking, running half-marathons, playing soccer, exploring Vancouver’s coffee scene, and keeping up with the English Premier League Soccer.
