Hi, I’m Gerri-Lynn, and I believe that healing happens in spaces where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach to counselling is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and building meaningful therapeutic relationships where clients can safely explore challenges, growth, and change. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, grief and loss, attachment concerns, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the complexities that come with family dynamics. My work is informed by a strong interest in understanding how our past experiences, relationships, and environments shape who we are and how we move through the world. My counselling approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gottman principles, and strengths-based practices. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” people — it is about creating a space where individuals can better understand themselves, build resilience, and develop meaningful tools for change. As someone who deeply values connection, empathy, and authenticity, I aim to walk alongside clients with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique experiences. Whether you are facing difficult emotions, navigating life transitions, or seeking greater self-understanding, my goal is to provide a supportive space where growth feels possible and you do not have to navigate challenges alone.
