Georgi grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria, and moved to Edmonton, AB at the age of 16. He attended University of Alberta and obtained a BSc degree in Immunology and Infection in 2014, followed by a MSc degree in Physical Therapy in 2017.Since then, Georgi has earned his Functional Dry Needling Certification and has pursued further education in TMJ rehabilitation and Mulligan Concept Mobilization with Movement. He has also completed courses in Orthopedic Division’s Manual Therapy curriculum.
Georgi’s treatment approach revolves around effective patient-therapist collaboration. He is dedicated to providing patients with the appropriate tools, education, and care to actively manage their conditions, and to successfully achieve their goals. He believes in an active approach to build strength and resiliency and is looking forward to helping his patients reach their full potential.
Outside of his career as a physiotherapist, Georgi loves spending his time playing soccer, biking, hiking, anything to do with being outdoors. Georgi is fluent in Bulgarian, and proficient in Russian language.
