Gemma graduated from Mohawk College in Ontario in 2019 with an advanced diploma in Therapeutic Massage Therapy. She passed her board exams in Ontario and transferred her license to BC, where Lake Country is home. She started Stonecove Massage in January 2024.
Gemma's primary treatment focus is headaches/migraines, stress management, and back, neck and shoulder pain and tension.
Gemma's massage treatment style is a combination of myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish techniques, deep tissue therapy, isolated stretching, joint mobilization techniques, and hydrotherapy in the form of hot & cold stones.
What she enjoys about her work is the opportunity to create peace in a client’s life, whether that be in the form of freedom from pain, an increased sense of well-being, or just an opportunity to be in a quiet setting and allowing care. She values her commitment to doing good quality work and love of learning.
