About Gavin
Gavin is a 2014 graduate of the Massage Therapy Program at Vancouver Career College and is the 2nd place winner of the August 2014 Clinical Case Report Awards by the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of British Columbia (RMTBC). His article "Therapeutic and intra-oral massage for treatment of post unilateral sagittal split osteotomy temporomandibular joint dysfunction: a case study" has been published and can be viewed on RMTBC's website.
Gavin's experience includes treating different populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, numerous conditions such as TMJ dysfunction, HIV, diabetes, disc herniation, dislocation, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, pregnancy, tendon rupture and other various overuse injuries. As a member of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA), Gavin is also a certified sport massage therapist SMT(c). This designation allows him to participate as an RMT in national and major sport events in Canada.
When Gavin takes a break from his busy life as an RMT, you can find him enjoying a latte in a cozy neighborhood café, drawing fascinating and creative pictures with his pastels, or enjoying the tranquil scenery of Vancouver.
