About Gabrielle
Gabrielle’s interest in perinatal mental health is a product of her own reproductive journey, specifically pregnancy losses, postpartum depression, a secondary infertility diagnosis, and subsequent IUI and IVF treatments. Because she’s walked this road herself, Gabrielle understands the mix of hope, grief, resilience, and uncertainty that can come with building a family. Gabrielle has a particular passion for working with individuals and families experiencing infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, and complex reproductive experiences, including those who are single parents by choice or by circumstance.
Gabrielle is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) where she is completing ongoing training regarding mental health and counselling considerations for assisted reproduction. Additionally, Gabrielle has completed training in perinatal and maternal mental health through both Postpartum Support International and Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, combining cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to meet clients where they are. She works collaboratively with clients in their journey; holding space for their experiences and bringing genuiness and compassion to the therapeutic relationship. Her presence is both grounding and empowering, allowing clients to feel seen, heard, and supported.
