I am a Psychotherapist located in the Durham region with clients spread across Ontario. I am experienced with working with preteen and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship/family issues. I take whole person approach to therapy and tailor our dialog and treatment to meet your specific need. I believe in the uniqueness of each person.
I strive to create a space where you can safely explore and process your story with compassion and non-judgement, together we will create a lasting strategy. We will explore therapeutic frameworks like Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, solution-focused therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Narrative therapy and Gottman Method Couples and Family Therapy.
My approach is client-centered, allowing you to take an active role. I want you to be able to look at yourself, see the uniqueness in you and feel proud. I need you to be able to say that no matter what I am experiencing right now, I have a future. We will work collaboratively to uncover the strengths you already possess that may be hidden.
