About Emma
Hello, I’m Emma.
There are times when you find yourself constantly second guessing your reactions, your needs, or your decisions. You might feel drained from always being the one who holds things together, avoids conflict, or gives more than you receive in relationships. Maybe you are trying to make sense of patterns that keep repeating, even when you want something different for yourself.
I often work with people who are recovering from emotionally harmful relationships, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, or rebuilding their sense of self after burnout, addiction, or periods of feeling stuck. You may feel responsible for keeping the peace, unsure of your worth, or disconnected from what you actually need. Therapy can become a space where we slow this down and begin to understand how these patterns formed and how they can shift.
Together, we focus on helping you trust your own thoughts and feelings again. This may include understanding how your past experiences shaped current relationships, learning how to respond rather than react, and building boundaries that feel steady instead of overwhelming. My approach is collaborative and reflective. We look beneath symptoms to understand what is driving them, while also developing tools that support meaningful change.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, ADHD, self harm, and questions around identity, confidence, and self worth. I also work with those trying to move forward after experiences of narcissistic or emotionally difficult relationships.
If you are looking not only for coping strategies but also for a deeper understanding of your emotional patterns and relationships, therapy can be a place to begin that work at a pace that feels manageable.
I offer in person sessions in Barrie as well as virtual therapy.
