About Emily
Emily is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. She also holds an Honours Specialization Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Rehab Sciences from Western University.
During her Osteopathic studies, Emily learned the importance of viewing the body in a collective manner. This allows her to focus on searching for asymmetries and restrictions of motion while realigning structures in an attempt to determine the cause of a patient’s symptoms. Emily’s treatments are based on osteopathic principles, with a focus on finding balance within the body, attempting to restore proper nerve impulses and circulation of blood flow, and an emphasis on the importance of allowing the body to self heal and self regulate.
