Emily graduated from Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Minor in Health Sciences, and later from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) with honours. Throughout her undergraduate degree, Emily had volunteered with varsity athletes in providing first aid and spent some time working as a personal trainer before attending VCMT.
She believes that client-centered care involves a holistic approach and understands that injuries or conditions can be multifaceted with various factors that contribute to what an individual experiences. Emily’s approach includes assessing areas of concern and creating individualized treatments with hands-on and exercise components that are tailored to her clients’ needs. She enjoys working with a diverse range of clientele and continuously learning to grow her skills and knowledge.
On her own time, she enjoys exploring local cafes and delving into a great book!
