Everyone has the ability to make meaningful changes in their lives; sometimes we simply need someone to add perspective, guide us through learning new tools, and/or just listen. My role in the therapy room is to give that support towards your goals! During sessions, I often discuss what is happening for you currently: thoughts, behaviours, emotions, body sensations. We may also discuss your story (how it has led you here and how it is still impactful today). I see behaviours as helpful or unhelpful in our given circumstances; even if they previously had meaningful roles in our lives, it might not be the case anymore. Together, with all this information, we can focus on changing patterns in your life to better fit present needs and goals. I work from a sex-positive lens, with diverse sexual interests and sexualities, gender identities, and various relationship types/forms. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out! Fun Fact: I love to spend my free time reading; doing crafts (embroidery, cross stitch, crochet); and immersing myself in role-playing games.
