I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor/Psychotherapist in BC, an ADHD Clinical Services Provider, an End-of-Life Doula, and a member of the BC Play Therapy Association. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based, individualized, and guided by the needs of the client. In sessions, I blend evidence-informed strategies with a compassionate, practical, and conversational style. Sessions are grounded in a family-systems truth that when one family member grows, the whole family rises with them. I have extensive experience working alongside neurodiverse children, teens, and adults, including those with ADHD, Autism, learning differences, trauma, and sensory needs. I recently completed training to become an ADHD Clinical Services Provider. In one-on-one sessions, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where every individual feels understood, respected, and celebrated for who they are. My goal is to offer tools that are realistic and help people feel more confident in navigating emotional regulation, behaviour challenges, work and school stress, grief and loss, and complex family dynamics. With children, I combine play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy, somatic therapy, DBT, and narrative therapy in sensory safe sessions. With adults, I draw on CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, narrative therapy, grief and loss counselling, as well as generational trauma and burnout recovery strategies. With families, it is my goal to support children and parents in building confidence, strengthening communication, and navigating challenging behaviours without shame or judgment. Whether a family is seeking support with emotional regulation, school challenges, sibling dynamics, or everyday stress, I offer tools that are realistic, affirming, and tailored to each family’s unique needs. When needed, I focus on elevating the voices of children and caregivers within the community. I frequently liaise with schools, MCFD, medical professionals, and community agencies as an advocate and support. I have lived experienced as an adult with ADHD and am a parent of children with diverse needs. I have navigated the complexities of academic, medical, and therapeutic systems as both a parent and a professional. In the fall of 2026, I will be pursuing a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy. The focus of my thesis is understanding the impact of childhood diagnoses on parenting and how to better support the well-being of all family members when a developmental or medical diagnosis is made.
