About Elexa

Elexa is passionate about supporting people as they grow into the best versions of themselves. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently completing her Master’s in Counselling at City University in Seattle. Alongside her academic journey, Elexa has built years of hands-on experience working with young people. She currently works as a Youth Worker in the Coquitlam School District, where she has had the privilege of supporting youth and families through a range of challenges and transitions. Outside of her professional life, Elexa is a competitive athlete. She has been playing ice hockey since the age of six and continues to lace up regularly for both ice and ball hockey. She also has a background in box lacrosse and proudly represented Team BC. Her athletic experience has taught her the value of teamwork, resilience, and discipline—qualities she brings into her counselling work. Elexa is thrilled to be starting her counselling career at Coast Therapy in Pitt Meadows. Her goal is to create a supportive, empathetic space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.
