About Elena

Elena believes in people’s innate capacity to grow and heal. Elena holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology and is registered with the British Columbia Association for Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Alongside talk therapy modalities, Elena specializes in Somatic and Relational Therapy which explores how experiences resonate and are imprinted in our bodies, what is described as ‘the felt sense’. Our bodies are wise, but we have often learned to disconnect, or ignore the somatic narrative. Somatic and Relational Therapy focuses on incorporating the wisdom of the physical body into the traditional counselling process for a more embodied approach to growth and healing. Elena is grateful to reside in beautiful Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ territory. She loves the work that she does and is deeply honoured to work with people as they explore new aspects of their lives.
