What were you doing before pursuing RMT?
Before attending VCMT, I was working part time as a server/bartender and part time as a Barista. Nothing gets the blood pumping like working from 6am-11pm!
Why do you want to be an RMT?
I want to be an RMT so I can help people in a tangible way, it is also a career in which I can work with people and my hands (quite literally). I have nightmares about working a desk job...
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?
Outside of work and school, I love to explore Vancouver on foot, the residential alleys of East Vancouver have so much personality! I also enjoy bread baking, reading, textile arts and when I'm back home, a swim in the ocean.
What is your favourite thing about VCMT?
My favourite thing about VCMT is the small, tight knit community built by the student body and faculty, fruit bowl Mondays are an awesome bonus.
