About Eleanor

Eleanor is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor. She is a Level 3 trained AEDP therapist, and works with individuals on concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, family of origin issues, and life transitions. The AEDP approach strives to undo the sense of aloneness and overwhelm that may accompany unprocessed, blocked, or unwelcome emotions resulting from trauma and suffering. In the safety of the therapeutic environment, clients can begin emotional processing that can help them reconnect with core self, needs and boundaries, and a personal sense of agency. Eleanor brings a varied background to her counselling work. In addition to her MA in counselling, she holds an undergraduate degree in music, and an MA in theological studies, with a focus on spirituality. This rich combination provides a grounding to assist clients towards their own unique paths of growth and healing that is holistic, experiential, creative, and deeply respectful of individual experience. She is a dog lover, enjoys the outdoors, and appreciates great music of all genres.
