About Ebube

Ebube is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #11244102) who is passionate about helping adults, couples, and youth (ages 10 and up) navigate life's challenges while building healthier relationships with themselves and the people who matter most. She believes healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, and strives to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore life's challenges with honesty, hope, and confidence. With more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families across diverse mental health and community settings, Ebube brings both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to her work. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she worked in youth care, disability services, sexual assault support, and crisis intervention before earning her Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence University College. Since then, she has continued to build on that foundation through school-based mental health, community counselling, suicide prevention and intervention, and private practice. Since making the Northwest Territories home in 2022, she has remained committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals, couples, and families across the North. Ebube works with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, burnout, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and identity exploration. She has a particular interest in supporting couples seeking to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster deeper emotional connection. Her approach is integrative and tailored to each client's unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and developmentally appropriate play-based interventions with youth. As a therapist whose work is informed by her Christian faith, Ebube has a particular interest in supporting individuals and couples exploring the intersection of faith, culture, relationships, and mental health. She welcomes conversations around spirituality, church hurt, religious trauma, and faith-related concerns for clients who wish to incorporate these areas into therapy. Counselling is always guided by each client's goals, values, and preferences, ensuring faith is integrated only when it is meaningful and desired by the client.
