About Dunia
Do you ever feel disconnected, as though you're carrying more than you can name? Are you longing for greater connection, clarity, or a renewed sense of self?
I believe you are the expert in your own life. Sometimes, we all need support to untangle our emotional experiences and reconnect with ourselves. With over five years of experience supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach grounded in warmth, authenticity, and emotional attunement. I work with individuals and couples experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting challenges, anger, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relational difficulties.
My work is rooted in psychodynamic and body-centered therapies, helping you understand how past relationships and internalized patterns may be shaping your current experiences. I will tailor therapy to your unique needs and might integrate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while incorporating a multicultural and spiritual lens when appropriate.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my family, walking in nature, cooking, doing puzzles, and getting plenty of sleep. These moments help me stay energized and connected to what matters most.
If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to book a free consultation so we can explore whether we're a good fit to work together.
